What is the typical timeline for custom commissions?
Custom pieces usually take 6–8 weeks from consultation to delivery. This allows time for design, hand-throwing, two kiln firings, and careful glazing. If it is predicted to take longer than this or there are any delays, I will reach out!
How do you price custom ceramic work?
Pricing is based on size, complexity, and materials used. A project estimate is provided after initial inquiry to ensure transparency.
Are your custom pieces food and microwave safe?
Yes, all functional work is created with food-safe glazes and fired to appropriate temperatures. Pieces are also safe for use in the microwave & dishwasher.
Can you match a specific color or glaze style?
Yes! I work closely with you to select glazes & styles that match your vision.
Do you offer shipping for custom orders?
Absolutely! If you are local to West Michigan, we can also coordinate pick-up.
